Stopping workplace fireworks before they explode

Today is a very significant day for us at Gateway HR - it is our 18th birthday 🎂 So there may well be some bubbles and of course a cake! This email is a little bit later than normal coming out, as hoped we would have photos of our cake - but it has not arrived yet!

I’ll start with an apology — this week’s webinar release is a little later than planned. The reason? I wanted to get it absolutely right. The topic is too important not to.

And since it’s the week of Bonfire Night, the timing couldn’t be better...

But here’s the thing: conflict isn’t always bad. Managed well, it can lead to stronger relationships, better decisions, and more resilient teams. The key is knowing how to step in at the right time and in the right way.
